Our Staff
At the heart of each child’s learning experience is a staff of caring professionals to nurture and guide each child. Grace Pointe CDC's qualified, caring teachers strive to build a strong educational relationship with children and their parents. All our staff share a common commitment to nurturing and educating young children.
At Grace Pointe CDC, we know that our families depend on qualified and loving caregivers and teachers. Our directors place a priority on finding, hiring, and retaining qualified staff. All employees must meet MSDE regulation requirements in order to be eligible for employment.
Grace Pointe CDC's staff is constantly improving their skills through on-going mentoring and continued education training. Staff members must complete training in the identified core of knowledge areas yearly.
Our staff places much value on the parent/teacher relationship. We desire to be an extension of home and provide the best care for each child, based on his/her individualized needs. Regular interaction with parents is an essential part of providing the best care. Grace Pointe CDC also plans family events where the staff and families get to know each other better and build life-long friendships.
Crystal Norfleet
Mrs. Crystal is our Director. She is a loving wife and a mom of 3 beautiful children! Mrs. Crystal is a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University with a BS in K-12 Music and holds her masters in Educational Leadership. She also has an endorsement in Special Education. Crystal has her Maryland Certificate for Teaching PreSchool and Infant/Toddler.
Kayla Curtis
Kayla is a graduate of Mount Vernon Nazarene University with a bachelors in Psychology & Child Life Specialist. She also has her Maryland Certificate for Teaching PreSchool and Infant/Toddler. Miss Kayla loves her pup, Sulley. In her free time Kayla enjoys dog training. Kayla has sensed a call to full-time ministry and is actively involved in the Praise Team and Youth Group at Grace Pointe. She is our Lead teacher in the Grasshoppers class.
Cayla Porter
Cayla Porter is a mom of an awesome little boy! She has completed her Maryland State Certification for Infant/Toddler and is working toward her PreSchool Certificate. Cayla loves to sing and dance and spend time with family.
Robin Curtis
Mrs. Robin is a spoiled wife and mom of 5 amazing children. Mrs. Robin is the assistant director at GPCDC as well as the Pastor to Children and Families at Grace Pointe Community Church of the Nazarene. She is also a MiMi to sweet baby Rae! Mrs. Robin has her Maryland Certificate for Teaching PreSchool and Infant/Toddler. She is our Lead Teacher in the Inchworms class. During COVID, she is also our lead in our PreK 5's class.
Miranda Harder
Mrs. Miranda is married to her best friend and a mom to Sweet Baby Rae. She is a graduate of Mount Vernon Nazarene University with a bachelors in Graphic Design and Marketing. She also has her Maryland Certificate for Teaching PreSchool and Infant/Toddler. She is our PreK 3's LTeacher in the Bumblebees class.

Mrs. Tiffany is a newlywed who holds her associates degree in Early Childhood Education from Anne Arundel Community College. She enjoys watching the Orioles and Ravens games. She is our Lead Teacher for our PreK 4's class
Candace Fischer
Ms. Candace is a mom of 3 awesome kids! She is also a proud grandma to 2 precious little gifts from God. She has her Maryland Certificate for Teaching PreSchool and Infant/Toddler. Ms. Candace loves to go to the gym, shop and help out with the youth at her church. She is our Lead Teacher in our Inchworms class.
Kyler Curtis
Kyler is a graduate of Mount Vernon Nazarene University with a bachelors in Pastoral Ministry. He has two classes left until he completes his dual Masters - Business and Divinity. Mr Kyler has two kitty cats - Soup and Minmin and enjoys playing video games and board games in his free time. Mr. Kyler is also on staff as the Youth Pastor and helps lead worship at Frederick First Church of the Nazarene. He is our assistant teacher in the PreK 3's class (assisting his sister, Mrs. Miranda).
